Dr. Prodhan Mahbub Ibna Seraj, Head and Associate Professor, Department of English, AIUB, conducted a workshop titled "AI Literacy for English Education Graduates" on Monday, July 27, 2026, at the Chowdhury Sharafat Multipurpose Hall. The workshop was organized by the Department of English of the Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB). The event aimed to equip students and educators with the essential knowledge needed to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence in language education. The seminar commenced with an inspiring speech by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. H. M. Jahirul Haque, who emphasized the critical importance of AI in higher education. Dr. Prodhan shared practical strategies and valuable perspectives on integrating AI responsibly within English education. He provided hands-on examples demonstrating how AI can be used ethically and effectively without resorting to plagiarism.
